A Rose Part III

Many of the 83 original titles that Harlequin changed on their editions were used on American paperbacks. Here's a couple of examples.

Waterfront was first published by Duell Sloan and Pearce in 1951. The Black Dark Murders is a paperback original published in 1949 by Quinn Publishing as Handi-Book 96. As usual no mention is made of the original titles in the Harlequin editions.

Harlequin 129 - September 1951

Popular Library 408 - 1952

Harlequin 305 - July 1954

Handi-Book 96 - 1949
