Tan Ming

Lan Stormont was the pseudonym of Montreal's Morse Robb (1902-1992). His Tan Ming was published in 1955 by New York's Exposition Press, a vanity press. Robb's more enduring claim to fame is as an early inventor of the electric organ.

This book has nothing to do with early Canadian paperbacks but the author is Canadian and the book deserves a post.

  1. Your post had me running to Abebooks, where I found all of one copy on offer. Bought as a Christmas present to myself, I'm informed it's already on its way.

So, thank you for pointing out this oddity. Can't begin to tell you how much I'm looking forward to reading it.
